In Zemo’s case because this happened so long after his release which gave people more time to purchase him with real money and it was never announced in forums. The difference is big enough in my opinion that rank down tickets are warranted.

Arguing with someone who's consistently not gonna change their mind is just a noise fest and nothing but asking for drama. Yet, again another serious topic turns into community vs GW.
No one was asking for drama. I expressed my thoughts on it. I pointed out that it's been my view for years. I acknowledged the other side. I clarified I wasn't trying to inhibit anyone from expressing their feelings on it. I even pointed out that my view isn't going to change on it, and respectfully agreed to disagree. The rest is not on me. No one is being dramatic or controversial. It's a different opinion. Simple as that. Not every opinion on the Forum is going to coincide with what everyone else wants.
Your thought is that RDTs should not exist, open your own post and take discuss it with Kabam... They have created RDTs as a resource to correct their own mistakes... The existance of RDTs is not the argument here... You are trying to shift the goal that way... The reason why people feel like you are trolling them is cause you keep your argument based on saying "I dont believe in RDT, so I can't agree that they give them away"...Does your belief really matter when Kabam created them and use them as a resource NEEDED for some situations? Go open your own ticket and ask Kabam to remove RDTs and stop agitating people who feel cheated... They are not asking for a generic RDT, they are asking for 1 target champion RDT... We've known your opinion on this situation for at least 10 pages now. This thread is not here to convince you of anything or change your mind, nor is it to change anyone elses. It's here to educate those affected on how the usual system works, and Kabam's failures in this particular occasion, as well as giving Miike a place to see how much of an impact this has on the playerbase as a whole and where they can better themselves in the future. We all know RDT's aren't going anywhere. They are Kabam's only way to give comfortability to spenders that they will be compensated for failures on Kabam's end. If it didn't work this way, people would instead be asking for refunds or quitting entirely. If RDT's were a net negative for players or Kabam, we wouldn't have them.

Perfect example how kabam messed up the current situation. I'm waiting for @GroundedWisdom to reply to this now, but it's such a good example that he'll probably skip this

I'm definitely not tired of it, I think it's an interesting perspective. But reading through these past few pages hasn't made me any wiser about anybody's perspective on the subject. I'd much rather Miike come back to something he can give the team as criticism towards what they need to do in the aftermath of all this.

@SecondSkriller I dont get the point of your video proof or whatever it is. Everybody with a r5 knows how the Zemo lock works😅 and it doesnt require skill. I also think that kabam should have comunicated this and they should give us RDTs for both champions.

It's been on the trello board for awhile that zemos root wasn't supposed to stop the enemy from using their sp3 and the devs also informed me that it was supposed to be on the patch notes that they fixed it.
I guess the Cassie taunt on the patch notes (wasn't actually changed) might have taken the spot of Zemos root being fixed

How is the root lock mechanic any different from the Doom cycle? The Doom cycle essentially allows people to push champions to an SP3 and but never let them throw it, it has been in the game for ages and it is performing as intended, why is it so obvious that the root lock is a bug when we have the Doom cycle performing as intended in the game since forever?
Calling people who ranked up Zemo for his root lock as noobs who don't know any better is disingenuous. If Kabam wanted they could counter Zemo's root lock in a variety of ways just like how they have countered the Doom cycle over the years, but they chose to nerf his fundamental rotation altogether. This is the equivalent of Kabam reducing the amount of power Doom steals on his basic attacks when his aura is up. Sure he may still have functioned and be useful in certain matches but he would be nowhere close to the top mystic in the game without being able to lock opponents in the Doom cycle. Zemo doesn't even hit as hard as Doom so assuming his root lock is intended and taking him up just for that purpose doesn't seem completely nuts to me.
It's different because you can literally freeze them in place and never let them attack. That jeopardizes any future content, in a way that is much similar to 12.0. If you can't make content that challenges anyone because a Champ exists that can cheese it indefinitely, that's dangerous.

It was stressful and the smallest mistake leads to getting hit in the face by an sp3. I practiced hours to get it down fairly consistently and it still resulted in failure many times because the AI would block the first hit instead of heavy attacking.

How long do you think before people catch on and duplicate it? Do you think you're the only one capable of it? Come on, you're smart. This community catches on quickly, and R5s are becoming more common. The last thing you want is a Champ that can plow through any new content, especially longer content and harder content. I appreciate that you feel upset by this, but I think you're minimizing the issue.
