Is this month's side quest worth playing?

Im Paragon, but for me the 1600 6 star shards everyday or the 2500/2000 T6B or T3A just doesnt seem worth my time because i can easily get much more for less effort in battlegrounds so Im not sure if i should continue playing the side quest everyday (which is also very troublesome since i cant clear all at once and the defenders are virtually the same so its getting boring)

The quest isnt exactly hard. I am thronebreaker playing threat level 5 and running through it without KOs. There are no protection nodes to slow down the quest.

Its just adding to your rank up materials or gold. Why not play it?

Worth noting that you need to clear the rifts to advance in the solo event.
I think it's worth spending a couple of minutes every day just for the awakening gem.

My opinion: Rifts are trash and the time locking sucks, BUT, cumulatively over 28 runs, the rewards are better than they appear.

Well, I hit the Rift Lottery and got the 6* AG path today, so when I combine that with the solo event rewards I’m not going to complain.
