I mean open uncollected arena crystal.

The average units for 1 million battlechips is around 1,800, but that doesn’t mean you will get that much or that little.

It’s not a large number either. @DNA3000 could easily shed some light on this I am sure. But getting only 1k units out of 1m battlechips isn’t unheard of, and neither is getting 3k units out 1m. RNG happens and you’re going to win or lose.

Same - happened just recently. Actually got stuff all gold from them as well so was a multitude of bad luck.

Maximum units when opening one million BG of TB crystals (20): 5250
Lowest units when opening one million BG of TB crystals (20): 375

Theoretical statistical average per one million BC: 1800
Actual average UC (2200 crystals): 1926
Actual average TB (520 crystals): 1965

** All unit drops from every crystal variation are divisible by three: 15/45 for basic, 75/225 for UC, 375/1125 for TB. 1000 is not divisible by three, so no combination of any of these drops can land on 1000 exactly

No, but you're not opening a million crystals. The more crystals you open, the more they will adhere to the average. If you go with normal Arena crystals, you can afford to open 500. You will almost certainly be pretty close to 1800 in that case. If you go with Uncollected Arena Crystals, you can only afford to open 100. That's not a huge number, so you'll likely be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1800, though it's certainly possible to get more or less. If you open Thronebreaker Arena Crystals you can only open 20, so its far more likely you will get significantly more or less than 1800.
