What is battlegrounds preseason, or it is just a typo?

the message in the top bar says "Battlegrounds preseason will resume this Wednesday"



I'm also wondering if Kabam should really start the WAR season on August 2nd, looks like nobody has any idea about how the new placement system works at this point.

    It's a typo. Meant to say AW as evidenced by it being the body text of the AW season announcement

    It means War will start in 2 days, and the Season will resume next week.

    AW Setup is OPEN again.
    You can do your Placements and Auto-Enlistment setup, with 2 days available before the first war actually matches teams and starts attack.

    Only 1 week (3 wars) worth of preseason to get accustomed to things, and for Kabam to see what it will need to improve on for this new feature.

    I missed the whole point. My bad. Yes, it was War, not Battlegrounds.
