Oh and just to add ... there is a pre season to BGs, its the 1 week period between the season ending and the new one starting. But thanks for the arrogance 🤙

not to be pedantic, but that is off-season. a preseason in every sport involves actual contests happening, whereas an off-season is the period when there is no competition happening

Not to be literal ... pre means before, so therefore there is a preseason to BGs as there is a period that happens before the season.
Really sorry, not sure if I missed some info about something else but is this referring to AW or BGs or both? Wee bit misleading lol
It's obviously a typo you chicken nugget. It's the body text of the AW preseason header. Using .5% of your brain power and common sense could have led you to this conclusion

Misspelling a word would be a typo, typing something completely different is just plain laziness or incompetence, brushing it off as typo is just as bad. But like I said, I didn't know which they meant hence the whole question, believe me, I wouldn't go through the effort of creating a post to find out which it was for s**ts and giggles, I have better things to do than troll.

Chill boi. They just asked a question.
Nah this guy needed it fr
I don't even know you, so pipe down kid 👍
Why are you so mad at a simple typo. Off season = nothing happening in sport/game Pre season = essentially practice prior to the regular season.
Odd. I thought it was a fighting video game, everywhere says as much. Not that it really matters 😂
Odd. Seems like e-sports are not a video game genre. Furthermore, due to the nature of Battlerealm Brawl, the event falls within the umbrella of e-sports

Ah right, yes of course, the entire game is battlerealm brawl and always has been. I get it now.

Seems like you are misunderstanding the definition on purpose and trying to explain it again would be a waste of my time
Esports - player vs player competitive gaming. There is no monde in MCOC that allows PVP in a fair sense , you're playing the AI. That AI is subject to RNG. My understanding of esports is like I said, PVP, RNG wouldn't play a part in there, how can someone say they're the best at something when RNG plays such a pivotal role in that thing (draft phase for example). In their own community, sure, call it esports but in the wider range of it ..... nah, this is far from an esport game
The old summoner showdown is as close to esports as you'll get, everyone had the same choice aa the person before them (use any champ for the challenge) but even then the AI is still subject to RNG, though overall I would concede that it was esports

Oh I'm far from mad mate, I had a question, I asked the question, got answer along with a load of childish responses so I'm just replying in the same manner ..... play them at their own game.

How is two players competing against each other in BGs not PvP? Tetris is considered an e-sport and the main goal is getting a higher score than the opponent, which is basically what you do in BGs, and by extension Battlerealm Brawl. In fact, I'd argue that you interact a lot more with your opponent (and are able to affect the way they play) in BGs than Tetris

But yeah, not mad 😀
Also, doesn't kabam have restrictions on where players are from to be able to be eligible to compete?
