This has to be a first, no? Embarrassing, yes. Amusing, also yes.

I'd say it's probably not the first, but certainly rare.

0-0 tie, where time remaining doesn’t factor into points score, could not be so hard.
and when unfortunate situation when BOTH people get a disconnect (although wonder how that gets counted, is there such a thing as double-forfeit where neither side wins and the match does NOT continue to 3rd fight ??)

More difficult is where 100% Attacker Health remaining with KO fights on both sides, and happen to have same Fight Duration.
But still, tie resulting from just a single points category.

More impressive is when you get a combination of 2 different scoring categories combining to be an actual TIE. (and some have shown that before).

Here’s mine from this season. He let me win for round one (I think he was farming points with energy to win with elder marks). When I saw that he didn’t do anything, I just let my second round go untouched to see what would happen. We tied. I then left to go make dinner because I thought the same thing would happen in round three and it’d be a tie again ( I also was wondering if one win and two ties would still get me a medal, which I was pretty sure it would). But low and behold, he did two hits so he wound up with the win for round 3. There were lots of emojis flying around from both of us on that match.

who ended up getting the medal?

Here's a much harder one to pull off that I did somehow.

Hahaha, yeah, that's the first I've ever seen something like that. I have a bad habit of playing indescribably bad every now and then, but my opponent usually demolishes those mistakes. However, this reminds me of that time when I was so mad at myself for playing absolutely terrible that I wanted to throw my phone out of my window, only for the opponent to somehow be even more terrible.

But at least we each got like one hit in.
