Alliance quest champ slot

I've seen someone has only 2 heroes in aq and 3rd slot is locked and says lvl3 in it. Can someone explain what is this?

Just a visual bug that only appears when you enter with less than 3 champs, but not before. I had it pop up for me when I purposely entered with only 2 champs.

Interesting that it has a LOCK Symbol with the text LVL 3 on it.

Does anyone know if maybe there *IS* a ramp-up when you first start playing game, that you need to maybe be Level-3 before being able to bring 3 champs to AQ ?
(* as there is with normal quests, you start out with only 3 slots, then after a while you get a 4th slot, then later a 5th slot, for all your normal quests)

And that even for more experienced accounts, the game is piggy-backing off of that other code to say that it “must be locked, due to summoner level” if you didn’t bring all 3 attackers for AQ ?
