Mythic Shards Appeared?

So I’m not sure what’s going on with the mythic crystal fiasco but after the daily reset today, I got 2,500 mythic shards randomly added to my account. I know because I’ve been keeping an eye on them because there are some in the objectives that would get me closer. Did anyone else randomly have this happen to them? I’m nervous about just opening this in case it’s an error.

Same here. I don’t know how many I got but I know I was a little short of a full crystal and now
I’ve got over 11k shards.

For me it was 2,500 since that put me exactly at the 10k mark.

I’m at 11,614 because Kabam doesn’t like to keep things at nice round numbers.

You sure you didn't get it from today's Gold Track? The Paragon rewards had 2500 Mythic Shards in them

Ok I feel dumb. I thought it was just a paragon crystal and 6* shards. I missed all the other stuff. Thank you!

Apart from the mythic crystal gate, I really do not understand why those kind of shards are so incredibly rare. I mean come on - 20% 6* is not gamebreaking anymore.
