AW Defense Bug?

Not sure if this has been noted yet, but today before war placement started I swapped my apoc out on defense in aw
When trying to select him for attack, I cannot see him as an option. My champion roster still claims he is on defense
When checking both the placed defense for this war, and the placement for next war, apoc is not out there
I should be able to use him, correct? Or is there a timer on this that is hidden?

The cutoff for defenders to apply for a war is when matchmaking starts at 3 PM Pacific time. If you swap out your champs before then, they should be released to you to use in AQ.
Did you place defenders on all 3 map difficulties? If so, did you remove them from all 3 map difficulties? There was a bug from last month where defenders from all maps (not just the active map) were being locked when the war started. Not sure if they fixed that yet or not.
If you left those other “potential” defenders in the +/- War Tier Maps, even though you removed them from the actual War Tier Map used for your War Match, those other “persistent potential +/- Tier defenders” are still part of who are locked out from being used in AQ or AW Attack.
Not only that, even if you had placed persistent defense in a BG # which is higher than the # of BG's your War actually enlists for, and so doesn’t even use ANY of your defenders, they are all still locked out from being used in AQ or AW Attack.
(mine are currently that way, as a test, and that is indeed the case, hopefully this is something that will change in the very near future)
