Persistent placed screwed us.

My alliance matched in a higher tier than what was shown and now our map isn’t full and we will start season with a loss. People have been raising these concerns for days and Kabam hasn’t acknowledged us at all.

What? What do you mean it's not full? Did someone in one of your BGs pull their defense and not replace?

I assume they mean that they only filled out the "current" war map and all of their members didn't place defenders on all 3. So when they were matched up against a higher tiered opponent on the higher map (e.g. tier 6 alliances on a tier 5 map), their map wasn't full.

For people that aren't used to the new persistent placement, I can see how this would be an issue.

I honestly think a lot of these issues would have been sidestepped if Kabam did a tutorial video on the changes to AW that was available as in game message. There has been a massive change and a lot of people still don’t understand them. It’s would have been a lot easier to understand with someone going through the changes visually and explaining it.
