I'm confused

I'm looking at the AuntM.ai site, and trying to figure out how any character does damage to 7* Absorbing Man. It says that his Resistance spikes by 9000, and I'm pretty sure no champ has that kind of attack power. How does this work?

In Uru form, abs man gains physical resistance which mitigates a lot of damage done by physical attacks (doesn't not work well against crits though). This means that if you're facing someone using energy attacks, then your physical resistance doesn't mean anything. His other form is magma form which mitigates a lot of damage from energy attacks (still doesn't do much against crits). Let's say for example, you have Uru form up and get hit by Mangogs Sp2, then you're going to have a really bad time because that sp2 is all energy damage. If you had magma form up and got hit by Mangogs sp2, then you'd take much less damage.

So basically any Physical Damage is just moot when he's in Uru form? He's just basically immune to it?

And then you can also use Champs like scorpion/spider ham that has lots of power sting dmg that bypass all the resistances.

You can also knock him down with a heavy immediately after he throws a special to disable it. This has a 20 second cooldown I believe though
