Gladiator gauntlet - AI behaviour

Hi all, but particularly @Kabam Jax as I believe you play the game.

Has anyone noticed how weird gladiator's AI is on the final gauntlet??

If you all recall the old arena AI in the first 3 matches, where it would just walk towards you, never throw specials unless taunted, hold forever until sp3; it's like that but much, much worse.

It's almost unplayable.

Is he supposed to have radically different AI from all other enemies?

Yup I just played it and the AI sucks. He’ll just stand there and walk up to you, sometimes you can hit him and stand there and he won’t do anything at all. I tried to bait only sp2’s, but even when holding block and playing defensively, he threw his sp1 into my block

Not just that but the ai likes to just not throw a special at all so you try hit their block after they dash back but then they just sp intercept you. It happened alot when 8.2 was released and now its been happening constantly again since the new update

I agree, the behaviour is very different from the gladiator boss in eq.

Also why does his first incinerate from sp2 do less damage while his second and third do way more damage?

Ngl using tech champs was a dreadful experience but lady D got me through it lol.

This is not aggressive AI whatsoever, needs to be fixed to match what the description of the node is…
