Points deducted in AW and Tier dropped

After our last war in this past AW season, we ended with 4,842,799 points. This left us in Gold 2 Rank 1416. Late last night, our points were deducted by 680,000 down to 4,162,799 which left us in position Gold 3 Rank 513. Looking through the leaderboard, all other alliances stayed in the same spot and were not deducted. Has anyone else experienced this? I would like to know before entering a ticket to correct this error. Thank you.

    It means someone in your alliance cheated, was suspended, and got caught. Whole alliance gets docked for that.
