Thoughts on using the first 6☆ Ascension as pseudo generic rank 5 gem?

One of my alliance mate ascended r4 KP. Just like an r5 now.

Yeah this definitely makes some sense

People are wanting to save T6cc for 7 stars now

So making an R46 equivalent to an R56 while saving those t6cc, t6bc and t3a can make sense in some situations

i mean is ascending scalable ? Like if you ascend a r4 then take him to r5 will he have the same stats than if you waited to r5 before ascending the champ ?

I have r5 Herc, Abs Man and Nimrod, but I'm very tempted to ascend my r4 Omega Red that I think would benefit more and save the r5 resources.

I ascended R4 Doom. Saving T6CCs for 7*s.

This is what I was wondering, I assumed it would scale up. So I ascended my R4 scorpion

Yes, it does scale based on the rank of the champion. If you ascend someone at r4 and then r5 them, they'll have the exact same stats as if you waited to ascend them at r5

That's my plan for doom as soon as I get those 20 shards... But I am going to take him to r5 after that soon... But yours is a good idea for someone who has r2 worthy 7*s

I don't know if you already saw in this thread but it's using the ascension to ascend r4 6☆ and make them pretty much like a r5. It's a cool mechanic if you're focus on 7☆ or takes forever to get the mats for r5.

Absolutely. We still don't know how rare they will be in the future but it's definitely a cool idea to consider in some situations.

Yup, that makes sense. I'm on similar situation on lots of my r4. My only r5s are Hulkling and Kate and I feel like it's more cool factor that they need the ascension.

But I believe you are going to r5 your ascended champ anyways right? R5 6* with ancesion is somewhat equal to 7* r3(which we don't have on the game yet)

Yes. It's just really hard to form t6cc atm so I arrived with this idea.

My account has 0 r5’s but i have the cats to r5 Doom, KP, Hulkling, and Fam. But in the past I spent 10k units for r4 mats to get closer to paragon right before they released an r4 gem in the story mode.

Never making that mistake again so hoarding all my t6cc for 7 stars for the next progression title. R5's will eventually get gems.



The only issue sadly is that I only have 1 7 star that's worth t6cc atm

Not bad .this 7 stars in collection are useful for your defence... Attacker is low in your 7* collection.

Right of the bat I see 2 7 stars worthy of r2 + 3 debateable ones. Shuri and gorr for sure, gamora rocket raccoon and killmonger debateable. Killmonger only because he's unduped, I'd r2 an unduped one for bg defense but I know it's not for everyone.
