On one hand, you have a point. But on the other hand, he's a trophy Champ. Categorically, they have only been obtained one way. I don't even think they had arenas for them (but I may be wrong on that)

No, it's kinda just on you for thinking he would be in there when trophy champs have never been on offer in this way. There really wasn't a need to state it because there wasn't an expectation present. If Kabam have done this before then there's grounds to feel misled. As it stands now, if trophy champs were included they would have stated it in the announcement as something special. An exception, not the norm.

Every time trophy champs have been made available there is always a special announcement for them. "Get jessica jones by doing this" "Weapon X will be in the gifting crystals this year!" never the other way around

It said, "contains 6-star champion selectors from 2019, 2020, and 2021." Never said those selectors contain every champion from...

So to conclude, you played yourself especially considering those selectors have been featured in J4, and Cyber weekend offers before and no one thought they had weapon X or Jessica Jones in them either.

My man, just because a sandwich says "contains cheese", are you gonna expect they put every kind of cheese to ever exist on it? The description of the selectors states there are champions, from 2019, 2020, and 2021. Not every champion, just specified ones

These offers have always included the list of champs available and this is no different. Just because you decided to just dive in without previewing the champs, doesn’t mean they mislead you.

Actually, I went back to the in-game email, and it does not state or even imply that "all 2020 champs are there."



it just says you have a choice of selector crystals. So then I went to the offer itself, and the offer itself also states only that you can choose from champion selectors for 2019, 2020, and 2021. Nowhere does it state that all champions released in those years would be contained in that crystal. Weapon-X was never made available in normal crystal releases in any of those years, which is why he's not contained within the selector. There is no reason to believe that a 2020 selector crystal is guaranteed to contain all champions released into the game in 2020 without regard to whether or not they were actually released in normal champion acquisition crystals, any more than it would be reasonable to assume that the 2021 selector contains Gwenmaster.
