Hi i have a 4 star wolverine that is rank 5 level 50 but my 4 star to 5 star boost won't work

There’s no such thing as a 4-5* boost, can you please provide a screenshot of what your talking about

No. Read the description more carefully

Your Wolverine is already at 4* rank 5/50.
What the gem does is rankup a 4* rank 4/40 into a 4* rank 5/1.
Takes the place of using Catalysts and Gold under the normal Rankup process.

The reference to “Can only be used on a Champion that is at Max Level” means that they have to be at Level 40 (out of 40), ie, rank 4/40.

NOT that they have to be at Max Level possible across all Ranks (ie, Rank 5/50). And refers to increasing RANK, not STAR (Rarity).
