Are two 7 stars worth 4,444 units?

I’m just as disappointed in the Caps Commissary event like most, but if I spend 4,444 units on 6 star shards in the Caps Commissary store, I can trade in 11 featured crystals for a 7* and hit the event’s top milestone. So I’ll ask it this way, are two 7 stars worth 4,444 units?

So, the feature crystal exchange is one of the best offers in the commissary.

Unless you're exchanging units for the shards. That's when I think the value decreases and does so more with each time you buy.

Now, 4444 units is a little more than an Odin and Tony's briefcase (if bought in the Summoner's Market). That will get you two 7*. But Cyber Weekend is just around the corner and the deals you'd get buying those same things will probably give you units, champions and even more for that same amount.

An Odin at Cyber Weekend might not get you two 7* but last Cyber Weekend it gave two Abyss Nexus 6* selectors, a 6* awakening gem, a 25% T6 CC crystal, 1 full T3A, 25% of a T3A, 1 full T6 Basic, 25% of T6 Basic, 2.5m gold and 3350 units if bought from the in game store (I think the summoner's market may have given even more units, don't know).

I won't throw it back at you, as you're clearly on the fence. So, perhaps see if you can exhaust all your other options first - grind out those arena milestones, open your arena crystals, try and bulk up on your units even more so it lessens the blow. Because I don't think it's worth it if you're spending the money. But if you already have the units? I'd still advise you to wait for Cyber Weekend, but if you're intent on pulling the trigger, try and get even more units before you do and after you do so that you don't feel the loss as much.
