Morbius is gonna be a decent questing champ but he is not gonna be a great BG champ at least unduped.
But hey, not every single champ has to be BG champ. He is super fun to play with.

Keep in mind his basic attack has very low damage output. all his damage comes from L2 and if you can't bleed the opponent then he will never finish a fight in BG. Yeah sure he can do some mystics so can Torch and Torch does it better along with some defenders listed below. Not saying Morbius is a bad champ, in fact, he is an excellent champ but not much use in BG. So "He’s literally perfectly built for battlegrounds" is not true.

Edit: Morbius actually heals from Iceman's cold snap. But damage output is very low.

Wow you just listed a bunch of skill champs and bleed immune that he’s not built for unawakened lmao. Yeah, and torch sucks in non-energy/non-mystic matchups, and he’s still a top champ. Saying “hey, this champ reliant on bleeds for damage can’t take shruggers and bleed immunes well” is obvious. Unawakened he still destroys any non-bleed immune, and awakened he’ll kill champs like Mangog and Manthing easy

He's meant to obliterate mystics with nullify neutralize or stagger and do well against non bleed immune champs you dummy of course he won't work against those, just because he doesn't work against those unawakened though doesn't mean he won't be good for BGs. This is like saying Mantis can't take Doom Nova Rintrah Domino etc so she sucks for BGs lol not true.

He’s amazing, I recommend running armor pen on him, unless it’s some champ that doesn’t have any armor it’ll always be beneficial, especially against people like Doom.

The main problem is his base damage is so low. It takes 3 SP1 and 2 Sp2 to kill Winter Soldier at 7r1. Any of the champs I mentioned above out speed that with similar or more utility and matchups.

I listed 80% of the top BG defenders not just bleed immune champs! Lmao bro awaken him first then talk about his awaken abilities! And I kept saying “him being unawakened” not very useful! Never said he will not be useful awakened.

He’s going to be fine if you can attack nonstop. If you get a meta that requires you to bait a lot of specials or wait out timers, say goodbye to your bleeds and consequently, your damage.

AA can't take majority of those defenders either. In fact, he's a potato against bleed/poison immune.

Well, I don't have him on my team, as I didn't spend for the Triple Track.

But I have to say, what with his Unblockable/Miss on Dash attacks I thought he'd be a better defender.

But boy, he really isn't. A one-minute solo in Thronebreaker EQ? Jack Russell was far more trouble...

I mean, he’s fun, sure. But I don’t think he’s even a top 5 science champ. He’ll be fun if you want to see those those guaranteed crits and big yellow numbers but other than that, I would pick other science champs first. Then again, we’ve only been able to use him for a day.

Duped he'd be close in the 7* pool. There is a ton of utility there.

If Joe isn't duped then yes but if he's duped then hell no, Joe is severely underrated

7* with full synergy team (Venom, Elsa, Blade and Molegod).

…sp2 is 80-120k every time, the unblockable is just great…if they bleed, this guy kills.

I don't think he has any staying power as a defender. That glide might catch people out in the beginning but I wouldn't expect much from him in that regard.

Kabam did a good job !!

They minimized the whining by making him readily available at the peak rarity for nearly everyone that wanted him with no RNG.
