Apocalypse not gaining charges

Today I brought apocalypse into AQ for the horseman synergy, but after 3 fights including one against a mutant doom bot he hasn't gained more than one charge.

who where the 3 fights. Apoc doesn't gain any charges if the opponent is a #robot like doom bot is

Weird. Tho to be fair i noticed my apoc was able to rebuild his charges after reaching 4 in my aq game. I was able to horseman one champ and still regain 4 charges.

Apoc can still regain his charges back up, you just can’t activate horseman ability twice in the same quest

Apoc can still regain his charges back up, you just can’t activate horseman ability twice in the same quest

Weird i could have sworn a while back he couldn’t. I guess i must be misremembering i hardly use him these days. Had him as my second 5* so its been a while.
