Web store paragon crystal has better odds?

Probably just random chance, but the daily crystals I've been getting from the web store seem to deliver much more then the ones I get in game. Of the 6 or 7 of them I've gotten so far, 3 of them have been 5000 6* shards. Obviously since they are the exact same crystals they have the same drop rates as the normal ones, just seem to be luckier for me at least.

6 or 7 crystals is obviously a significant sample, so I'm sold!

You do realise that it's easy to program one number out of an array to occur more often right?

So you think someone at Kabam thought OP was important enough to program their Webstore Paragon dailies to skew to get 5k 6* shards over other pulls? They predicted that player would to open their in-game daily first, navigate to the Webstore, claim the daily and the open it and programmed it to skew to 5k 6* shards?

Tbh my drop rates from those have been consistently better than the normal ones as well, getting a lot of fully formed t5b which is awesome. Not sure why everyone's being so passive aggressive about it

To be fair, OP wasn't claiming the crystals are rigged specifically in favor of himself.

There are certainly plausible reasons why Kabam might offer better drop rates on web market daily crystals than in-game dailies. That said, we do not have nearly enough data to support such a conclusion.

And even if they were going to do so, I doubt it would be a secret. They were 100% open about giving more for the same price in the web store offers, so I see no reason better drop rates would be hidden.

I didn't say OP was claiming that. The person I quoted was saying it's easy to program it to happen. My response was to that person. I haven't seen any difference in pulls between the 2 crystals.

They go together with my other Daily Crystals, so … impossible to tell if it’s from this or from that source. Yeah, I‘m hoarding dozens of them.

I'm laughing my ass off right now, this mornings web store crystal was BWDO 6*. Yes. I realize that random is random, but it's still hilarious to me how lucky these crystals have been.
