8.3 rewards

I just looked over 8.3 rewards again and I realized that there aren't any r4 mats? Just wondering why? No catalyst or catalyst fragments for t6b or t3a.

Simple, save the gem until you have someone you wanna use it on. The vast majority of people doing 8.3 are paragon anyways so another r4 or two now or later ain't gonna make a difference. And chances are you already have plenty of r5 options in any class no matter what gem you pull.

Disagree, I’m Paragon and I don’t even have 10 r4 not even one r5, and you forgot new champs are added to the game every month and sometimes we’re either lucky to get them or pay to, and we want to rank them up so your “another r4 or two now or later ain’t gonna make a difference” does not work. I for example want Adam because I know he’ll be good for the 8.3 boss and I would want to rank him high as possible if I got him

If you want t6b and t3a, just do BGs and AQ, Paragons can get 2.25 of each per week. That's almost a weekly r4 right there.

That requires spending currency I usually don't have the luxury of buying those resources over 6* shards if I did buy the r4 mats then I would have no one to use it on for now I'm better off grabbing as many 6* shards as possible so that in the future I can buy those mats so that I have someone to use it on.

A rank 4 to me makes all the difference I only have 13 and 0 r5's so having to wait till I pull a viable option for the gem just sucks

So if you get r4 mats out of 8.3 you still wouldn't have anyone to use them on.... so you would save them.... now you get gems which protip: are better because they don't count towards the inventory cap. So if you got 19 t6 and t3 from 8.3 you would be forced to use them on someone you didn't want to rank up or they would expire based on your own argument. So it's better to get the gems. And that sir is why lawyers almost never want defendants to take the stand.
