Battleground already off to a bad start...

So the new season of Battleground kicked off and I'm already facing some problems in both the matchmaking and bots.
The past few matches have just been nothing but me doing really well, only for the opponent to get 100% health, and my defender wrecked within SECONDS. A few of my opponents have also just been whale accounts. One had 5 7* and half were already R2, and all of their champion battle deck's PI were above 15k. I'd show the username but I don't want people to come after him, only the bots that are at least trying to ruin my fun. This cannot be normal, it makes me outright mad that the only way to get through decent rewards is to face these challenges, and it doesn't seem like Kabam is doing anything for it. Especially as a F2P player like myself who's been nothing but punished by how Kabam oriented the system. And let's not even talk about how they reward players for being absent, while fairly active guys like me don't get ****.
What in the world can this company do to make things fair not just for me, but for the thousands of others who've been in a similar predicament. F2P, just looking to have some fun, only for it to be ruined by bots and whales who have nothing to do in their lives.
