Got kicked out of BG match as I K.O. Shuri

I was in my third round match using elder marks with my Longshot v Shuri. Just as I knocked her out, I got an error message and I didn’t take a screenshot as I just want to get back asap to see if I won the round. But the match now showed that as if I forfeited since I was defeated with no stats on the third round.
Has anyone experienced this? I was a bit annoyed as I thought I had a chance to win the match with around 2/3 health left and move up a tier. I think the other dude was using CGR against my Morbius (so he could still destroy round 3 because CGR is awesome).
Also, will the Kabam police ban me now? I don’t usually get dropped out in the game and it was the first time I saw that error message.
Any advice will be appreciated, thanks guys in advance.

Advice= Get a better ISP.

Oh I forgot to mention I am in Oz, in case other Oz summoners are in the same/similar boat. I think Optus is an Ok ISP, been pretty reliable for years…
