I usually don't bother with landing a bunch of heavies, no. It can be a good thing to do if you go for a bleed rotation, but if you aim to punish defensive ability accuracy, I find it somewhat superfluous. Especially if you have the Black Widow awakened, since you then also gain a personal cruelty passive every time an ability fails on the opponent. You can ramp them up really quickly that way, making heavy attacks even more unnecessary.
I have a 7* black cat but no idea how to play her. I am getting nothing close to these posted times. I’d be lucky to finish off the fight.
Assuming you're playing against someone who has abilities that can fail, the point is to throw your SP2 when you have the Calling Card on you. The Card starts on the opponent, though, so you have to steal it by either intercepting them or punishing them as they recover from a Heavy or Special attack. Once you have the Calling Card on you, you throw the SP2 and place a Sabotage debuff on the opponent. When that's up, you'll start dealing direct damage to the opponent every time an ability of theirs fails to trigger. She doesn't' do a lot of damage before her SP2, but after it she absolutely melts these opponents that we've been talking about.
