The update is already live. Do you even know what was changed? Look at his ability page.
It’s already live. There’s a mixed response. Some people think its a buff, some think it’s a nerf
I don't think it's a matter of opinion. It's both no matter how you look at it. He's no longer that good for Everest content but he's now viable in BGs, it's both a buff and a nerf.

He can do Everest content. He has a very powerful heal reversal and can ramp up his damage greatly and quicker

That's cheating, he's literally reversing all the healing. If there was no healing he'd be sitting there going for sp3 rotations for more than five minutes are you serious? Lol unless there's a whole path with healing he's not even top 10 for Necropolis.

Right but if there is no healing to be reversed then what? Go for 6-8 full sp3 rotations? There are champs quicker than that so there's no point unless there's a global healing node or something. Also yes he ramps up faster than before but at what cost? They took away a lot of his sp3 rotation damage.

He never was, so idk why you're complaining when his target matchups got much better

Not complaining, he's r4 and he's in my deck lol. I just said it's both a buff and a nerf because it is, calm down and go read again what I said.

What's his ideal rotation for BGs? Combo up to about 15 resistance charges, throw sp1, then lay down some of those root heavies?
I tried him out yesterday in one of my BG matches against Wong in GC and I definitely messed up some. Got the win, but it wasn't as clean as I'm sure Sandy could do. For the time being, I swapped him out with Cassie who I'm more familiar with.

After further testing, it seems he’s still very slow in bg and now has worse damage past 200k hp… terrible "rebalance"…

Three five hit combos, sp1, heavy spam, two five hit combos, sp2, heavy spam and fight should be over. Takes about 50-55 secs so he still isn't the quickest but he's definitely a solid attacker and his other rotations are viable now. One thing I see a lot of people still doing wrong is trying to build up heavy proficiencies right off the bat. Bad idea overall, there's no need to build them up because in BGs sp1 sp2 is more than enough to kill even if you're at zero proficiencies after the first unstable heavy. Now of course this may vary, if you're fighting a Rintrah or a Maw you will have to throw heavies here and there, if you're fighting an Abs Man sp1 spam is the way to go. Whole point here is don't build up heavy proficiencies unless you're unstable cause that is a waste of time, that's the most important part I would say.
Before buff it was good to build atleast 5 heavy proficiencies before starting the sp3 rotation. Now its not needed. While his damage was able to increase and keep increasing giving him mega sp3 damage rotations. He now does good against smaller hp pools and doesnt take as long as he used to. See it like this. Instead of sp3 for max damage to keep increasing. His sp3 damage is now capped and we are able to fully utilise his sp2/sp1 in our combos to use his utility to a max. Sure his damage is lower since he was able to solo some Abyss champs (Dormamu) and a lot of LoL fights. He now can't really. Well he could if we wanted to I guess but it will onlt take longer. In my opinion its a OK buff. Ill r5 him still since he is my favorite spiderman villian. While it was fun seeing the mega damage after sp3. He is still fun to play now

Hey DGba thanks for the update, was only asking as he had no increase or decrease to his attack and health which is usually a tell tale sign of a change, i didnt read the info as thought was still the same, but will have a read.
