Holiday gift question with title progression

Kabam usually sends the gift a few days before christmas but can't open it till christmas. You also have a few days after before it expires. If you change progression titles before opening the gift, does the gift also upgrade automatically, or it is locked to your current progression title once it hits your inbox?

    I think it is locked to the progression title you are at when you claim it from your mail but I could be wrong there

    pretty sure after it was sent , even if u went from proven to paragon , it will still be proven's gift

    Dang it, well I guess no need for to explore necropolis. Will wait for Act 8.4 for the new title

    Im here to bring you happiness, lately Kabam instead of giving the gift itselft, it gives a selector, where you can pick between all the rewards from Paragon to Proven, I guess they will do the same here so if you become Valiant after getting the gift you will still be able to get the Valiant gift.

    Anyway, you can wait till the 25th to claim it if possible

    I'm pretty sure last year we were mailed a gift card and you could trade it for the gift, and pick whatever title reward (assuming you had the title for it).

    So if you hit the next title mid event you can hold the gift card and get the higher progression later.
