EQ cavalier crystals drop rates

Is it just me or are eq Cavs extremely dry compared to what they used to be? I remember when eq cavs first started rolling out in events and myself and alliance mates were pulling tonnes of 6*s , but now the rates seem super rare. Am I stupid?
