War Assignment Issue

So many of my members in my alliance have had trouble joining a different battlegroup, as it shows fulls. However i have had one member who has placed in battlegroup 2 on a different map than the one we are one, and had joined battlegroup 1 on offense this same war. Im wondering if there is a way to fix this. I myself had tested with my mini account, and everytime i went to join battlegroup 2 that at this time has 9 members, every time i press the join button nothing happens as if it were a blank button. If there is any assistance available to resolve this would help, has been frustrating to deal with.

It shows that i am able to join this battlegroup, however everytime i press the join button that i circled, nothing happens. Is there a way to know what the issue is? Only thing i can think of is that a member placed on a separate map and is preventing someone from joining, but that same person has also joined a different battlegroup for attack, which is where i am confused. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as this is impacting our war season.

Only a day left of this war and we still have this issue. Really need help urgently.
