Thronebreaker Chee'ilth with Kate Bishop???

So I saw that Kate Bishop would be a viable option said great I like when a champ I like using is viable, got to boss, went in and seemed like it was ok, until Chee'ilth parried my repost arrow how does that even work???

    I believe Kate's riposte is a basic physical hit. As for why Chee'ilth can parry it, nodes

    The boss needs very specific counters like storm og or bishop which is a pain or just use white mags pre fight ability so she doesn't purify stuns from parries and keep parry,heavying and doing sp3(use a bleed immune champion to be on the safer side)
    Also don't try to do combos on her

    yes but shouldn't be able to cleanse since the stun is passive though which she cleansed it and reversed the stun still

    My best guess as to what could've happened is: Kate riposte -> Chee'ilth autoblock on contact and parry -> Stun tries to apply from the riposte -> Stun doesn't apply because the riposte was blocked.

    No real idea though, we cant see how it's working under the hood so all we can do is speculate

    Well hulkling doesn't have any of the said ability and yet he smoked her
