Kate bishop awakened ability not working

I have an sig 58 Kate Bishop. However no matter how many perfect releases I do in a row her dialed in passives never go above the base 2 stacks.

I see at least one other person had a similar problem back in July but there was no comment from Kabam support regarding the issue.

I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro Max os 17.1.1 for what it’s worth.
