Apothecary. Great Idea But Needs Improvement

The idea and intention of the Apothecary is good but to make it great, it needs to provide more than just 1 guaranteed 20% revive. No wonder people are still looking through old content to accumulate revives. This doesn't put out hardly what people want/need.

I think a more reasonable reward structure for the Apothecary is the easy difficulty guarantees players a 20% revive on exploration with a chance of a 40% revive on one of the lanes. Basically how the expert difficulty is set up now. Then we could have the expert difficulty guarantee a 40% revive upon exploration and have a chance at a 60% revive on one of the lanes.

The reward structure as it stands is horrible honestly and the 4 hour crystals are horrendously unreliable for revives. That leaves people going through acts 3, 4, and 5 trying to stock up. Honestly, I can't blame anyone for doing so. I think this would also be a win, seeing it would give people a rare chance to aquire 60% revives which are hard to come by other than purchasing with units, and give a more guaranteed way to accumulate revives without over doing it.

I've explored the apothecary and still didn't get a 20% revive, even though the thumbnail shows it's guaranteed. Smh.

It seems silly that there’s a whole difficulty of the apothecary that serves fully no purpose. Kabam has to know that nobody’s running it, right?

Whenever I do Expert, I always end up 100% Easy as well in the hopes I get a 20% from there too, as it’s on the picture. But the odds must be astronomically low, because I’ve never gotten one.

I stopped doing the easy one, I've never pulled the revive out of it either.

In theory it should have been compounded by the potion update they mentioned when starting the apothecary. If potions are more viable, revive use should decrease, at least somewhat. However, with their lackluster change in potions, that's not the case

It says potential rewards on the picture.

They were quoted at 1% at release.

I occasionally run it on Hero Use days, if I want a few AQ potions. Never had a revive.

Yeah the expert difficulty is the only one that gives you a guaranteed revive. You have to explore it for a 20% revive. And on the paths you have a 5% chance of getting a 40% revive.

On the easy difficulty you don't get a revive for exploration and I believe you only have a 1% chance of a 20% revive appearing on a path. So it truly does make the easy difficulty seem absolutely useless.

The fact the higher difficulty has potions in it that are useless for anyone uncollected or higher is a waste. The lower difficulty is barely useful for anyone outside of act 2.

They need a third difficulty for sure that grants a L1 revive on completion and L2 in exploration with at least L4 potion on the path the L3 potions on now, maybe L5. They're literally 11 units now.
