Killmongers indestructible chargers are not going off in BG

I was playing against 7 star unduped KM in BG. My attacker was 6 star rank 4 Kingpin. After KM gain 3 indestructible charges I hit him with full combo and still his indestructible charges we as it is and went off after second combo. This happens two times in a match. Is it a bug or I am missing something? ( I do not have recording of the match)

    Im guessing you put black iso on him which reduces ability accuracy. When doing so, Kingpin can do damage while bypassing the charges so they never actually run out until they can trigger

    You probably used a special 1 and put the degen on him, which reduces defensive ability accuracy by 65%
