BG Unknown Error issue?

Has anyone ever experienced this issue, just random unknown error occurred kicked to home screen, than go back to BG and it's as though I didn't even fight? If so does anyone know what causes this?

upon searching because I hastily posted this seems others have encountered this issue and it's nothing more than a bug an old one to.
