AW season rewards and gifting event

are we getting aw season rewards by December 5 ? If we want to move alliances does that mean we'd have to leave current alliance on the 5th and be with a new alliance on the 6th to qualify for gifting events. if we leave on the 5th does that mean we lose aw season rewards ?
