With this new bracketing system current positions for many alliances will likely be shifting down or not changing depending on your current position OVERALL. The overall is important because your overall position is what slots you in tier and rank for a tier. Alliance mate did some number crunching and my alliance at the bottom rung of Gold 2 will become Gold 4. Because our overall position lands in that position. Not sure I like this over a simple rewards buff for AW seasons.
