AQ Weekly Reward Cutoff

So with all the deadlines coming up, we're trying to figure out the best time for members to move.
We have guys that are waiting for AW season rewards to move alliances, but also don't want to give up AQ glory rewards after contributing to over half of the AQ cycle (we run days 1-4). They also want to make sure they're in in their new alliance before banquet rewards start up.
Now that there's no grace period before one AQ cycle and the next, we're thinking that the best time to move is Tuesday morning. This will allow the member to gain their glory rewards, and also will allow them to not leave their current alliance shorthanded for day 1 (we run map 8, so we need all 10 members to 100%).
However, the question has come up whether or not they'll be eligible for AQ rewards if they join a new alliance mid-cycle. Assuming the new alliance also runs days 1-4, will a transferring member be able to get milestone and rank rewards in the new alliance? They'll obviously miss out on day 1 map rewards, but that's inevitable. Can we get some clarity on this? What are the cutoffs to get full rewards.
