Can’t figure out why the community chose colossus over omega

I mean omega red would’ve been way better! Okay some ppl might say he needs awakening and high sig, so does colossus! Omega red is much more useful and powerful than colossus, Idk why majorities of ppl picked colossus? Any explicable reasons?

The main question is why Kabam did voting on Twitter, who even uses that garbage hate filled app, voting should've been done in forums and in-game.

They picked him so I can have the most precious resource champ in the game as Arena Fodder. And every blasted time I put him in my group of 3 I have to accept that fact that this came from the Titan Crystal.

Toad would’ve been my mutant vote. An excellent champ to have as a 7*. QS seems like the better choice for science now but I’m not mad at spot tbh, was fine with cosmic, was super happy with mystic, was happy with tech, and was fuming at skill lol. If Kate doesn’t ever make it in, I’ll be upset.

Like someone else pointed out, the vote being on Twitter was also stupid. Literally any other platform (in-game or forums) would’ve been a million times better

There's multiple r3 7* colossus in the game. The only r3s I don't know of yet is Vision, Platpool, and maybe Onslaught

Didn't vote cause it was on Twitter, a platform I don't use.

I agreed that it should have been on something Kabam normally uses - in-game or even they could have used the forums or twitch.

It is kind of how I think Spot won the Science spot over the community voted for champion (Quicksilver). The fact that the vote was on Twitter, along with the recent release of the movie, probably meant that the votes didn't entirely reflect the views of those who play the game.

Omega reds value comes from people who use suicides and he still needs awakening. Colossus while still requiring an awakening for longer content is still strong in terms of damage without it. He also has four immunities which are also good. I’m not saying he is amazing its just as a non suicide mastery user they both seem roughly the same to me.

Agreed. Everyone loves Omega Red and Diablo, but the fine print states ‘with suicide masteries.’

As someone who doesn’t use these masteries, I don’t particularly care about these champions. I get that they are good even without suicides on, but they are just not for me.
