Which mystic champion to rank up?

Hey guys,
I'm little confused whether to take my 6 star awakened & ascended doctor doom to rank 5 or to take 7 star Wiccan to rank 2? I'm just short of 1 tier 6 mystic catalyst if I want to get wiccan to rank 2

    I live by the rule of never r5 6 stars with catalysts, its just my personal opinion🤷‍♂️

    He's not coming out at a 7* any time soon and is much better than Wiccan.
