6* Featured Drop Rate Issue

So I’ve opened at least 25 featured crystals and have gotten ZERO of the featured champions. This …. needs to be looked at. Sure they are “random” but I have never experienced it to this level. This paired with the fact that the game is almost unplayable because of the input/ai issues that have ALL showed back up this month is great motivation to retire from the game.

I didn't keep count, but I probably opened around 12 or so. I have received KP 5 times. Out of all the crystals, I did get bug guy, er whatever his name is. So, one out of 12 isn't so bad?

I have opened 5, and gotten 3 different featured champs. RNG is RNG, outliers happen.

What if certain accounts experience certain drop rates?

Like if you’re whale, they could say oh the players spends x amount on average till he scores y character, let’s adjust drop rate so he spends more till he gets y.

Or I remember a guy had his 6 star ascended hercules removed from his account because he cussed the devs. If the action taken against offending accounts is not standardized, what stops someone to change one account’s dynamics differently than others? Where’re checks and balances? I’m quite curious about this one and a blocker for me to spend more in the game.

The drop rate is just bad this round. You can keep opening em for better luck or just stop. Your call

I too feel the drop rates are worse in this featured. I thought it was law of averages catching up because i got all featured champs in my first few tries on the last 3 featured but i have just got and duped Gladiator so far and all the others are opd champ duped.

My worst opening is 20,000 units spend and no featured champ 🤷🏼‍♂️

I can relate, I remember the last featured with Adam warlock.. I saved to open 30, then over the 3 months I reckon I opened over 200, and no adam, I then selected cosmic on all the abyss nexuses I got, probably around 5 or 6 of those, no Adam, I've even been buying the daily paragon deals on the cosmic day each week. No Adam, I believe there's just certain champs the game won't let you have. But, I did open 1 random Chi'ilth paragon crystal from sigil store, and out popped a 6 star kushala, so it's swings and roundabouts. But my 2 so far opened titan crystals landed me a colossus and gladiator, which is disgusting..

I've given up on Adam now, I feel the games not giving me him deliberately to keep me spending.. so I won't now.. I'm pretty happy with my roster atm now... I just wanted him as I love aggressive fun playstyles..

Opened 15, got all of them and some dupped.
This is like going to a casino, losing 1000 and complaining cause someone won after putting 20 bucks in a slot machine. Luck is luck and RNG is RNG

I don't like to recycle posts, although sometimes I point back to them.

My to-date drops for the current featured 6* crystal:

Eight featured drops out of 34 total crystal openings (Gladiator three times, Werewolf by Night three times, and Morbius twice). That is about 23.5%, which is consistent with a one in four chance.

As to the OP:

1. The featured crystal is not "random" it is random.

2. If you're not sure how many crystals you've opened, you can't be sure you opened "at least" any amount.

3. The odds of not pulling a featured champion after 25 crystals is very low - about one in 1329. However, that means for any one player the odds of that happening are very low, but across the thousands of players opening featured crystals the odds of it happening to a few people are very high. It is important to make a distinction between something that is rare and thus unlikely to happen to you, and something that there are so many opportunities to happen that it isn't an anomaly if it happens a few times to someone somewhere.

4. Honestly, I find anyone's crystal opening complaints to be dubious when they are contained within a random set of gripes and threats to quit the game. That tells me they are looking for something to complain about, and that doesn't bode well for being a reliable observer of statistics.

I've opened close to 30-35 since they released and I have everyone but warewolf by night. I have pulled Vox 4 times, Gladiator 3 times, Morbius twice, Photon and Kindred once.

The last featured was terrible for me in terms of getting the featured champions but this one has been kind to me. Quit if you want to quit but this is just how the game is. The good news is that there are tons of 6* shards out there and there are tons more chances these days to get those shards. If bad crystal pulls is your breaking point, you already have one foot out the door.

By far the worst luck I’ve had with a featured. I kick myself every time I get another one, but still end up going for it again. It’s a vicious cycle. Most recently I got Werewolf by Night, which is the first of the featured champs from around 20 openings. Think I may quit buying them now. Probably not though.
