Beyond easy path Necropolis, Aegon or Kate?

I finished the Titania path using 6r4 Aegon as my main attack. I will soon be able to r5 a skill champ. I see a lot of people favouring Kate Bishop for the other paths. I have them both ascended at r4. Who would be the better investment for the remaining paths of Necropolis? Thanks in advance.

If you arent extremely comfortable with playing Kate then go Aegon. You'll end up wasting more items if you're trying to learn Kate as you go in the Necropolis.

(On second thought. Do Kate even if you don't play her, we need people to die more)
