Galan - BG question

Maybe I’ve missed something, but how does galan work as an attacker in BGs? He has no DOT on his basic but still took out my Nemo with nearly 100% health left. I can’t see any power gain in his kit? Not accusing anyone of cheating I just can’t work it out

Here’s what I believe:
He is still able to trigger the harvest even without specials. Once it expires it does damage.

yeah harvest just requires buffs from his basics and then throwing a heavy with enough charges; you can’t end it early with a special but you’ll still do the burst damage.
