AW strategy guide for alliance leaders?

I'm having issues w assigning members to bgs but then they can't play that bg. I think it has something to do w persistent placement and multiple map levels, none of which I fully understand. Any tips/links to good comprehensive guides? Thx

    The persistent placement does make it difficult to shuffle folks around in AW

    If someone is moving BGs, they have to remove their defenders from their old BG and into the new one

    An officer or leader cannot do this, it has to be the member

    I like the persistent placement idea, but it sure bring up a numbers of other problem.

    Would an idea like this work.

    So on our profile, we can place which we "would" use for AW Attack & Def and AQ.

    Would it work if we enable Leader & Officers, to select and place champs from the AW Def pages into AW map themselves.

    I.e, you place all the champs that you would use a Def (not duplicate them on AW Attack), the Leader and Officers can then just select any of other champs to place as Def.

    So it would be the Leader & Officers that do Def placement (not adjustments, but placement itselfs).

    This would not effect the players, as AW Def champs isn't log for other content, so it won't prevent players from using those champs outside of AW Def.
