Best moment to switch alliance and not lose out?

I think it's during the offseason, and after you receiver you BG rewards. Then, should it be monday? This way I will receiver my glory for this week, but I will miss monday AQ in the new alliance. If I leave on Sunday, will I still receive my glory?
Never experimented this so need your help please

You will need to stay in your current alliance until Monday to get glory. With the current AQ setup you will need to choose joining the new alliance late or missing out on glory from the old alliance.
