Passive AI vs hold heavy champs

I have noticed it a couple of times in aw and now in monthly event quest as well. In a with scorp when heavy charging with a special 1 ready: most of the times I screw up and release before they dash, but I've landed one with 64 of his charges. That's long. With mr negative in event quest: my heavy just throws because I have been waiting so long and after the AI dashes in.
It's especially problematic with mr negative, since it's his playstyle.
