A non mystic option is Scorpion make sure You use the Shock/Rupture Pre fight and spam sp1

Non mystic options are, void, titania, mr fantastic and scorpion.
Titania is excellent counter with staggers and haymaker to take sp3.

Ham. Even if Hyperion doesn't throw his specials, he can tank sp3's if you have nonsense up. Usually the taunts can get the specials out, but the damage reduction is helpful when they don't,

Torch and his power stings is solid, especially if you can block Hype's sp1.

Each stack of Spider Non-Sense reduces enemy special damage by 5%, to a potential total of 50%. Taunt, besides making the opponent more likely to throw specials, also reduces opponent attack rating by 40%. Ham is a deceptively tanky champ.

Science option champs should also include Spidey2099 for his wither and exhaustion and Anti-Venom for his access to petrify and stagger.

Taunt reduces attack and if you pair him with the inequity mastery it reduces the damage

It'll be interesting to see what they do for Luke Cage, who's actually a semi-effective Hyperion counter. Play aggressive, and he can (RNG-permitting) use Exhaustion to shut down or reverse Power Gain; and if an SP3 slips through, just take it on the chin.

White Tiger now that she's in the game. She has power control and nullify. This is my R1, 5*, 1 sig. She wrecked him lol.

Also Colossus is great since he's incinerate immune, armor break immune, and can tank Hyp's Sp 3's. Yes that's plural. My R5, 6*, max sig Colossus tanked 7 of them and still won.

Luke Cage and Doc Ock are some of the more unique ones

Luke Cage - can tank SP3s + his exhaustion debuffs can mitigate Hype's powergain

Doc Ock - he can keep Hyperion powerlocked very easily, despite his class disadvantage. Just spam SP1s and Hype is easy to deal with
