QOL Suggestion: Auto Fight Exploration Option

For example, notice how this lane is split where after every fight you take, the auto fight feature stops you and has you decide which lane to take? What if there was an auto fight feature that detects all unexplored lanes, and take those lanes after you initially tap the direction you want to go toward. As for if there are multiple lanes unexplored, maybe have it be randomized. Whenever i auto fight content I usually do something else in the process, and come back to see im either waiting at a portal or a cross road, and have always found that to be annoying when wanting to get something done and over with. I believe this feature would be ideal in optimizing the auto fight button without being a hindrance to people in having to check every once in a while to get past these cross roads and portals.
Just a thought i came across.

    **AGREE**

I’ve asked for that before too.
(wouldn’t need a separate Option Setting, just update the existing Auto-Fight to ALWAYS do this).

    @Kabam Jax

    (1) If there is choice between Explored and Unexplored path/portal, it will choose an Unexplored one.

    (2) ALSO (secondary condition), if there is a choice between multiple Unexplored paths (or if all Explored and just re-running for like Hero Use or Event Completion points), then it will choose path based on if there are any DROP ITEMS on it.

That way any multi-path choice can also grab any Revive, Energy Refill, or Health item (probably in that order of priority) that may be on one of the potential paths when there is a path choice.

    (3) Final decision, if above being no difference, could maybe (?) go by “Shortest Energy”, or just take 1st choice from within how the Map is designed (like Path # 1/2/3, or portal #1/2/3, would take #1), since doesn’t really matter at that point.

Your first suggestion is right, about auto play taking the unexplored path . But in case of multiple unexplored paths, The randomisation will cause a lot of problems.

Instead a best approach will be, why don't kabam make quests auto play friendly? Like no mid path seperations, just start and it will go until final node without any interferences.

Yeah that bit i was stumped on as to how to resolve it so thats the only solution i could provide. Suggestions for alternatives are welcomed as well. Also yeah i agree with that, typically players wont be lane swapping anyways due to different nodes so should be one singular lane for auto completion if anything.

Not sure I see the “lot of problems” that having the auto-fight just take a randomized path would cause.
This is just in cases where multiple unexplored's still have to all be taken, so multiple runs are still needed.
It would randomly (or in sequential path/portal # order) choose from ONLY THOSE that are also still NOT EXPLORED.

Or even in cases where you already did 100% completion and just re-running for various Event Points.
(**re-running 100% completed in order to FARM any items would be covered by my “2nd condition” for auto-selecting path, that if it has items on it. But otherwise, what difference would it make if there aren’t any items on any path).

Only times (and they are NOT very common) it might not be best optimized choice would be in those rare strange map layouts where paths join and diverge in such weird ways that if you come to a point from one direction vs the other it would result in “non-optimized” and needing to run the quest 1 extra time to get it 100% (versus someone who took the paths from the other direction).
(**in that case, you always have the option to turn auto-fight OFF, until you get to that critical decision point)

Autofight is very handy when you have extra energy. What's sometimes annoying is that paths themselves are frequently very easy to Autofight, but bosses often have nodes that Autofight simply can't cope with; but will happily kill your entire team trying.

If there were a change that would be helpful, it would be the option to stop Autofight at the boss; or when you only have one champion left.
