Being locked in to 1 quest

I have been playing the game now about 9 total years and I've noticed 1 huge discrepancy. Why are we locked into 1 quest at a time when we are the "summoner", who once ranking and leveling up has more the at least 100 champions. We should be able to fight in multiple quest across the game. We definitely have enough Champs to spread out across deferent quest. After all this time no common sense quality of life change as this. Thoughts?

    Even if you could do multiple quests at a time, the real limiting factor is your energy.

    @Buttehrs understandable but that's a issue being stuck in 1 quest or not. That's not what I'm saying, I'm saying we should not have to exit a story quest to doba event quest when we have so many champions to choose from

    I‘m all for it… that would allow us to do a Necro run, and continue to farm for revives (in the apothecary of course) if needed… Or gather points for event quest completion etc…

    BUT I am afraid this would cause a whole new series of bugs, so maybe it‘s best not to be implemented…

    The idea of doing end game content and being able to also farm revives in story is probably the biggest reason this will never happen. Imagine being able to spend 6 months working on Necro slowly while not losing traction anywhere else.

    That would exclude literally any other game mode as long as one quest is running…

    That‘s probably true… But at the same time, in 6 months the rewards may be outdated anyway…

    so why not allow multiple quests simultaneously, but for certain quests, like Necro, you are locked into it exclusively.

    That'd probably be tough to program for. I would love to run event quest and work on exploring old acts just for completion, but the farming revives for Everest content is why it'll never happen.

    I see some good feedback but the farming answer is bogus video games in general have save points. Being stuck in 1 quest for months on in and not being able to do anything else holds no merit. Using necropolis as this post main deterrent shows the shallowness of the community that would make Karam steer away from the common sense of the summoner to be able to put various teams in various quest.

    @Drenlin end game content is mostly story content it definitely wouldn't make sense nor am I saying we should be able to do multiple story mode quest at the same time, besides I don't look at anything as end game content because it's an ongoing game. Basically a comic book that we play. But I do tend to notice that most people haven't grasp that aspect yet

    They made an update with persistent placement for AW where your champions are not locked. You can use them elsewhere as long as you've joined attack first. I would like to see that for AQ as well. I don't think we need to be able to run multiple story/MEQ/SQ quests at a time.

    Unless you are looking to auto play 10 quests at a time then this from OP sums it up. And the energy drainage will probably explode the game server plus it could lead to more cheating with multiple devices using the same account. Not saying that you would, but the suggestion would open up a whole new can of worms here.

    The more difficult quests are EXACTLY (partly) why some people would want to be able to exist in multiple quests at a time.
    So excluding them (whether #1 top end Necro, or just some ACT 7/8), would make wanting to be in different ones at once sort of “moot”.

    You are part way thru an “Attention Focus Needed” higher end quest.

    But have a little “casual” time to be able to run some other things.
    Whether for hitting Objectives (like Target fights, # of Fights/Quests, Bleed kills, etc), or Hero Use or Event Completion events, etc.

    You could still do some things that DON'T require your attention.

    While I can maybe see an argument against allowing ppl to gather additional Revives, actually what would be wrong with that anyways. Do you have to stockpile 200 of them beforehand, or just 50 and see how many more you might need as you go along.

    One factor against this is that currently there is only a single quest that would show “CONTINUE” on it. Being in 2 current ones might be OK to have 2 different CONTINUE'S.
    But beyond that, having an open ACT-7, plus a monthly EQ path, plus a Side-Quest, plus a Back-Issue Variant, plus a Gold/Revive quest. Would make it impossible for you to see what all of them you are still currently in. And would require a lot more “SAVED DATA” on the servers to store your current status in each of them.

    Actually, a different argument might be made that difficulty should be tuned to NOT allow ANY revives in a Solo quest (not talking AQ/AW/Raid). You'd have to complete a Solo quest all at once with the living players you have, and it ends if they all get KO.
    Then you'd have to restart it all over if you fail, and see if you could complete it all in a new run.
    ****obviously, quest difficulty (and much of the design of the game itself) would have to be changed. So, removing Revives is NOT gonna happen.
