Winter of Woe's Valiant wiggle point

Winter of Woe's coming next week. Yay! But as someone almost about to be Valiant but still a couple of paths of Necropolis away I was wondering where the extra point for Valiants was hiding as it determines how fast I need to rush it.

Kevin mentioned that Valiant players would have one bonus point but I can't seem to locate it in the stream.
The points we have are:
For the first four fights,
1 point for completion
2 points for Paragons
1 point for Valiants
For a total of 12 points for Paragon and 16 points for Valiants.

For the last month's gauntlet,
1 point each for completion and exploration
4 points for Paragons
2 points for Valiants
For a total of 6 points for Paragon and 8 points for Valiant

The 7th milestone sits at 18 points and the last milestone sits at 24
If you add the two up, the Paragon total is 18 and the Valiant total is 24, exactly 6 points apart.

Hope someone can point out where the point I missed is hiding.

I believe in final quest, there are two points for each path, and one point for exploration, totalling three points.

Whats the 5 energy for, the finale? Thought every other 2 weeks besides that is just 1 boss

Each attempt you make for the fights is worth 10 energy, or 5 energy per tile instead of being free like in eop.

Well if thats the case, can we expect the objectives to be less restrictive as they were during EOP? Otherwise, can’t see the rationale behind doing that

The rationale was that the economy of the game has evolved past having these sort of things having no energy cost. Or something like that

I’d rather have an energy cost than an entry limit as mentioned on the stream.
Same, i like to mess around too much so an entry limit isn't my kinda thing lol

If that is indeed the case, then that’s a point up for grabs for Paragon players as well. Now I know Kevin didn’t definitively say that Paragon players don’t have the buffer point. But the fact that he was sure about Valiant players having it might mean that it’s not. So it’s unlikely a point for each path plus one for exploration.

If my memory serves right, they mentioned in the stream that there is a safety net point for both paragon nd valiant.
