Map5 symbioids gain critical buffs ?

I've experienced skill syms and science syms in Map5 gaining critical buffs. Is this normal? This seems to be a new thing. I've seen it over the past month but don't remember this happening before then.

I don't have a picture vs the skill sym but it happened today and yesterday

    So, some skill and science syms gain a critical buff in Map5 if you get hit? Can a mod confirm this?

    Idk what you want the mods to confirm here. You can read their abilities before the fight when it's visible

    the science one copies a buff on you when you get hit
