So, I can only count 17 WoW points for Paragon. What am I missing?

We get 3 points for each of the first 4 battles (1 for completion, 2 from objectives), and an additional 5 points from the gauntlet (1 for completion, 4 from objectives), which would be 17 points in total. However, we need 18 points for the rewards tier with the deathless Groot piece, which Paragon players are supposed to be able to achieve. Where are the other points that I'm not counting?
Likewise, Valiant would get an additional 6 objectives, which would bring them to 23 points, but their highest reward tier requires 24.
I'm not trying to be difficult, just trying to figure out where my count is going wrong.

Edit: we also get a free extra point for beating abs man, so paragons can get 20 points
